Updates to Stampin’ Up! Products
Big changes are coming to Stampin’ Up!—including stamps, markers, and even packaging! Here’s the scoop on what’s retiring and what’s new so you can plan your crafting purchases
There are a few upcoming changes to Stampin’ Up! products rolling out over the next several months—some starting now and others in 2025. Here’s what you need to know:
Discontinuation of Cling Stamps
Stampin’ Up! Cling stamps are the ones that feature the classic red rubber stamps with the sticky cling label that you add to a clear block. While many of us have loved them for years, Stampin’ Up! is phasing them out. Photopolymer stamps (the stamps are clear all the way through) have become much more popular, and raw materials for rubber are harder to source.
The last catalogue to include cling stamp sets will be the upcoming September to December Mini Catalogue (starts September 3rd, 2025). The good news? Photopolymer stamps will continue and remain a big part of our stamping fun. Even background stamps will be produced in photopolymer. Photopolymer has been sneaking into our hearts for years—and now it’s taking centre stage! These see-through stamps make placement a breeze and give beautifully crisp images. Plus, you don’t need to buy anything new—your clear blocks will work just as they always have.
Discontinuation of Stampin’ Write Markers
These are the water-based markers sold in colour collections. With Stampin’ Blends becoming the go-to for colouring, sales of Stampin’ Write Markers have steadily declined. Even though Stampin’ Write Markers are retiring, they’ve been a favourite tool for years. Here are my top 3 reasons I’ve loved using them:
✏️ Top 3 Reasons to Use Stampin’ Write Markers
-
Multicolour Stamping – Add different colours to one stamp for unique effects.
-
Fine Details & Journaling – Perfect for small images or scrapbook notes.
-
Perfect Coordination – Matches Stampin’ Up! papers, inks, and embellishments.
If you don’t already own them, now’s the time to get them as they are now officially on the Last Chance List—so if you want them, grab them while you can. Shop the LAST CHANCE LIST here.
New & Improved Stamp & Die Packaging
As Stampin’ Up! moves away from cling stamps, they’re also updating packaging for both stamps and dies! Starting in November 2025, you’ll notice slimmer, sleeker storage that saves space (my stamp drawers are already cheering). Even better, both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to keep your bundles together. Both photopolymer stamps and dies will come in this new style of packaging measuring 5⅝” x 9″ or 14.3 x 22.9 cm. Plus, the packaging will include printed artwork—no more guessing which dies belong where! And the artwork will be featured at 100% on the cases!
Watch for this transition to start in November 2025. The transition will take place over time, so you might get some old packaging and some new for a while. The Clear Standard Stamp Cases will still be available in the store (they come in packs of 4) if you prefer that style. Although there is no guarantee how long they will be available. The new style storage envelopes, Stamp & Die Organizers (167772), will be available to purchase in packs of 10 starting in November should you wish to convert your existing stamps and die sets to the new packaging.
