Today’s project is a gift card holder dressed up with the gorgeous Perfectly Pears bundle. It’s sweet for birthdays, thank-yous, teacher gifts—basically
anything—and you can swap the paper/colors to match the occasion.

Why this design works

• Built-in pocket: The inside has a half-circle notch so the gift card slides in/out easily.
• Any-occasion friendly: Change the greeting and paper and you’re done—holidays to hostess!
• Showcase those pears: Two-step stamping + a little water-brushing gives that painterly pear glow.
• Pretty texture: I embossed the DSP with Forever Plaid 3D for a soft quilted look.
• Finishing touch: The Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon ties it closed (it’s on the Last Chance List—grab it while you can!).

Quick How-To (measurements)

1. Base: Mossy Meadow, 10″ x 5-1/2″. Score at 6-1/4″ and 2″ to form the pocket flap.
2. Notch: Use the 1-7/8″ Circle Punch on the short flap to create the pull notch.
3. Pocket: Seal the side edges with Tear & Tape and fold up to create the pocket.
4. Front Layers:
   • Petal Pink mat 5-1/4″ x 3-1/2″
   • Painterly Pears DSP 5″ x 3-1/4″ (emboss if you like)
   • Vellum circle (Stylish Shapes) under the pears
5. Pears & Leaves: Stamp with Perfectly Pears, add marker shading, soften with a Water Painter, die-cut, then pop up with Dimensionals.
6. Closure: Wrap and tie Petal Pink 3/8″ Scalloped Ribbon in a bow.
7. Inside: Add a strip of DSP to the insert panel and stamp a small pear cluster near the pocket.
