I got this beautiful tea card from a demonstrator in my group, Laurie Alexander from Burlington ON, in a card swap.  Laurie used the Tea Together Stamp Set which is a stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue (please ask me if you would like a copy of this catalogue).  After Laurie stamped the image, she cut it out with the Tea Time Framelits from the Stampin’ Up! The dies even cut out the flowers from the Tea Together stamp set and have some multiples of a leaf image so that you can cut out a few at a time.

To create the tea pot and cup, Laurie stamped the images with Balmy Blue ink on Watercolour paper. And then she used an Aqua Painter to add addtional colour to the image with the same ink.

A card like this one, with no saying on it, could suit many occasions including:  a Mother’s Day card, a thank you card, a birthday card, a retirement card, an invite to tea card and more. I love having cards like this on hand, so I can pull it out when needed and stamp a saying on the inside of the card.
