Tea Together & Tea Time Framelits Card
I got this beautiful tea card from a demonstrator in my group, Laurie Alexander from Burlington ON, in a card swap. Laurie used the Tea Together Stamp Set which is a stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue (please ask me if you would like a copy of this catalogue). After Laurie stamped the image, she cut it out with the Tea Time Framelits from the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration promotion. You can earn this die set for FREE with a $120 order placed by March 31st.
The dies even cut out the flowers from the Tea Together stamp set and have some multiples of a leaf image so that you can cut out a few at a time.
To create the tea pot and cup, Laurie stamped the images with Balmy Blue ink on Watercolour paper. And then she used an Aqua Painter to add addtional colour to the image with the same ink.
The adorable butterflies on the card are punched out from the Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper, Botanical Butterfly using the Butterfly Duet Punch. The Designer Paper is also an item you can get for free during Sale-a-bration with a $60 order. Love how quick and easy it is to add colour and pop to the card with these sweet little punched out butterflies. See another card here using the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. You can see the full list of products used on this card at the end of this post.
A card like this one, with no saying on it, could suit many occasions including: a Mother’s Day card, a thank you card, a birthday card, a retirement card, an invite to tea card and more. I love having cards like this on hand, so I can pull it out when needed and stamp a saying on the inside of the card.
