Favourite Retiring Items: Helping Me Grow

The Helping me Grow stamp set is one of the stamp sets that I’m sad to see retire from the Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.

The large images look amazing as a focal part on a card.  On this sympathy card, I stamped the image with Basic Black ink and then just coloured in the centre of the image with chalk marker.

The words are sweet on this card and the label shape can be cut out with the Rose Garden Thinlits.  On the notecard below, I stamped the image with Mint Macaron ink and then coloured in the centre with the Gold Wink of Stella Pen.

On the card below, the image was stamped in black ink and then coloured in with inkpads and an aquapainter.  I love that you have options with this stamp set.

On this last card with the Helping Me Grow stamp set, the images is also watercoloured in.  I got this card from a demonstrator friend, Alison Solven from British Columbia.   On this card, notice the corner stamped pieces.  There are several accent pieces like this in the stamp set.
