Favourite Retiring Items: Endless Birthday Wishes

Over the next week, I’ll be sharing some of my favourite retiring items. I’d scoop them up before they are GONE!!!  You can see a link to all the retiring items below.

Today’s for Simple Saturday, I’m sharing one of my favourite stamp sets for new stampers or someone who just wants to make a quick card. The stamp set that is retiring is called “Endless Birthday Wishes and it has a ton of awesome sayings in the stamp set to make lots of cards!

I’ve made these five cards using just four items (see the link to the items below).

  1. Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set
  2. White Notecards
  3. Package of Markers
  4. Enamel Shapes

For each card, I used the markers to ink up the images and the sayings.  Don’t forget to “huff” on the stamp before you put it on the paper!

I think this pink and blue card is my favourite of the bunch.  What a cute card to add to a gift and so simple and easy to make.  And the note cards are made with a thick Whisper White cardstock so they stand up well!

Love that you can use the stamp set for occasions other than other birthday too, by just using the words and the dots.

I love how these colours, all go well together.  These are the 2016-2018 In Colors and they are not retiring this year. Colours are Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum and Dapper Denim.

On this card I used the markers to also colour a little bit of the cake!  The stars are part of the enamel shapes.

On each card I used the enamel shapes to bring thru the colours and have a fun and shiny accent on the card.

Total cost of these 4 items is $55 (plus taxes and shipping) and you would have enough to make 20 cards. Add in an extra set of note cards or a package of cardstock and you could make even more.   A simple kit like this is a great way to start your stamping collection!
