Flowers of Friendship Wedding Card
I got this beautiful wedding card from a demonstrator in Oakville, Ontario during a demonstrator card swap. (As an aside, swaps are one of the many fun things we do as demonstrators! See some more about that here.)
This wedding card was made with the Flowers of Friendship Bundle from Stampin’ Up! Many of Stampin’ Up! bundles come with dies, but this one comes with a punch!
The matching punch, Flowers & Leaves, punch out the two sizes of flowers and two sizes of leaves. You can see all of those items on this card. To create the punched out flowers:
- Stamp the Flowers with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock.
- Use a Sponge Dauber and the Fresh Freesia ink pad to lightly add some colour to the flowers.
- Punch out the flowers using the punch. Tip: Use the punch upside down so you can see to line up the flowers.
You can see the complete supply list for this card at the end of this post.
Another stunning element on this wedding card is the Expressions In Ink Ephemera elements.
The package contains 50 pre-cut gold foil pieces (5 sheets with 10 pieces on each) and 100 adhesive backed sequins. On this card, from the Ephemera Pack, you can see the little foil sprigs and the frame around the saying and the pretty sequins in the middle of the flowers.
Finally the last stunning element on this card is the actual background. It has been embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder from Stampin’ Up! But then what makes this card stunning is the sponged background –sponged with Fresh Freesia ink, and Blending Brushes. The “swish” of colour ties together all of the elements.
