Colour Me Mondays: Snow Wonder
On Monday, on my Facebook page and Instagram Page. I revealed this grey and white card using the Snow Wonder stamp set. I asked what colour you think this card could be. The guesses were: Green, Blue and White and Green, Silver and White.
It is interesting that the suggestions included green (I’m guessing because of the trees).

It is a lovely monochromatic card with the colour scheme of Night of Navy and Whisper White. I love that even the trees are Night of Navy. There is some subtle shading on the card from the colouring and the snowflakes that are stamped off (stamped on the card stock and then re-stamped again without re-inking). The image is actually stamped with Night of Navy ink and then just use a blender pen to lightly pull some ink for the shading. Because this is a water based ink, the outline lines on the stamped image will bleed just a little bit when you apply water to them.
The Snow Wonder stamp set has a realist look to it is which is quite stunning. And the other fun thing to note is that the Snow Wonder Bundle which includes the stamp set and the dies, includes some dies shapes perfect for layers and sentiments. And it also includes some decorative snowflake corner accents. See the bundle below. And see the full list of supplies at the end of this post.
I got this card from a fellow demonstrator, Ange McKay from BC and I loved her monochromatic colour scheme. I’ll have another Colour Me Monday post next Monday, November 23rd on my Facebook page.
