Wonderful Words & Phrases in Field of Flowers Stamp Set
I ordered the stamp set, Field of Flowers, from Stampin’ Up! because I loved the sayings in the stamp set. The “Always” saying is a lovely font and it pairs well with the other phrases and words in the stamp set. You can make a bunch of combinations of phrases and sayings with these words.
I also wanted to use the punch that matches this stamp set. You can get the Confetti Flowers Border Punch as part of a bundle with the Field of Flowers stamp set. The punch punches out the border flowers, which you can then add to the stamped image of the row of stems. And the punched out flowers are also great to use as confetti or shaker card filler.
What I’m finding with this stamp set is that I love, love, love the flower image and stem. It is such a pretty flower. And because it is photopolymer it is very easy to line up and stamp.
On this card, I added a little more texture to the flower image. I first inked up the flower heads with Highland Heather ink and then I used my Gorgeous Grape marker (from the Brights Collection markers pack) and lightly tapped it on the stamp to get flecks of darker colour. And then I stamped the image on my die cut. You can see all of the products that I used on this card at the end of this post.
I love that the “Always” stamp set has the 3 dots after it so that you know that the saying or phrase continues on the inside of the card. I also used the adorable little dragonfly stamp on the inside.
The little clear gems that are on either side of my image are the Flowers for Every Season Gems. They come in Just Jade and Clear. You could use these in a jar of flowers or in a shaker card or just as an added embellishment like I did on this Field of Flowers card. I used glue dots to attach the gems to the front of the card.
You can see another card made with the Field of Flowers stamp set in this post HERE. See the complete list of supplies for this card below.
I’ll have another Field of Flowers card to show you this week on blog at www.StampwithJenn.com showing yet another use of the fabulous phrases in this stamp set.
