Painted Poppies in Pink
I love the Painted Poppies stamp set and it looks so lovely in many colours including this very pretty soft pink version. I got this card from a demonstrator friend, Colleen Vassos in Saskatchewan. I love how Colleen used the colour Petal Pink for everything. This card is so sweet.
The Painted Poppies stamp set also has this wonderful kind of “splotch” background piece that looks great in the background of this card. Colleen used Versamark ink to make this a very subtle look in the background.
In addition, Collen used the Petal Pink ribbon, Petal Pink Blends (read more about Blend markers here) and Petal Pink sequins to tie it all together! You can see the full list of supplies at the end of this post.
I also the use of the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies paired with the Painted Labels dies on this card. I’ve just been using one die at a time and I never thought to incorporate two at a time. Love how these work together so well especially with the white-on-white look. The flower image from Painted Poppies stamp set fits well on these dies. I’m using this image in my Stamp-A-Pack at Home class. I love this image as it works well for some many things. If you are looking for a card to send to someone just to let them know you are thinking of them, this Painted Poppies card would be perfect!
