In my last post, I introduced the new ‘In Colors’ and in today’s post I’d like to compare them with the other current Stampin’ Up! Colours.  I’ve made up these colour comparison “flowers” so you can see how these colours compare.

The first colour is the lovely Rococo Rose.  It is a lovely rich pink colour that is darker than Petal Pink and Blushing Bride and has more pink tones than Flirty Flamingo.  It makes me think of a dusty rose colour .

The next colour is Purple Posy and it is the one that I’m most excited about!  I love purple! And this new purple colour is so light an pretty and soft. It is much lighter than Highland Heather, our lightest purple.  It has almost a gray tone to  it which is why I added Smoky Slate to my comparision.  I’m excited about trying out some soft and pretty colour combinations with this colour!  Stay tuned.

Seaside Spray is a new blue ‘In Color’. It is a soft blue that is light like Balmy Blue and more blue than the green tones of Pool Party.  It has a slight purple /gray tone to the colour and I think it wil make a nice “sky” colour.

The next colour makes me think of Mediterranean buildings soaking in the sun.  Terracotta Tile is in between Calypso Coral and Cajun Craze. I think it will provide a nice monochramtic look with the Grapefruit Grove colour.

The last new ‘In Color” is Pretty Peacock.  It is a rich blue green jewel tone colour that I think will look great with Coastal Cabana and Pool Party.  Also be sure to check out the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets and the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Both of these new papers include the new Pretty Peacock colour and are rich and gorgeous.
