New “In-Colors” with “Love & Affection” Stamp Set
Presenting the new Stampin’ Up! 2016-2018 “In-Color” Collection! I made these adorable little note cards using a NEW stamp set that will appear in the 2016-2017 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue called “Love & Affection“.
I used all the same stamp set on these cards to show the very many pieces that the set contains. I used the matching “In-Color” ink and cardstock and paired it with Basic Black ink on each card. Incidentally “Love & Affection” is also the stamp set that attendees are getting for Stamp-A-Rama in June.
One of the tidbits of information I learned from the Stampin’ Up! trainers, is that the new “In-Colors” are not necessarily meant to go together. But they do complement and enhance the other Stampin’ Up! colours. Although I think the little note cards all together look so pretty! What do you think? What is your favourite new colour?
I’ve got a little description of each new “In-Color” below.
The first colour is called “Dapper Denim” and it is probably the “In-Color” I was most drawn to. It is lighter than the current “Night of Navy” and ‘bluer’ than the current “Island Indigo” colour. It would look lovely paired with the current Stampin’ Up! colour “Marina Mist“.
This next colour is a bright green called “Emerald Envy”. It is brighter than the current “Garden Green” colour and darker than the current 2015-2017 “In-Colour” called “Cucumber Crush”. It will be lovely with “Real Red” for Christmas colours.
“Flirty Flamingo” is a fun pinky toned new “In-Color“. It is more pink in tone than “Calypso Coral” and a lighter pink than “Melon Mambo“. For a triple tone look, try this colour with the current colour “Blushing Bride” and the current 2015-2017 “In-Color” called “Watermelon Wonder“.
The next new “In-Color” is “Peekaboo Peach“. This is a fun, fresh colour and will make pretty floral cards and it looks great paired with the new “Dapper Denim“. It is also works well on a monotone card with the current orange-toned colours of “Pumpkin Pie” and “Tangerine Tango“.
The last new “In-Color” is my favourite: “Sweet Sugarplum“. It is a lovely pinky purple colour and is so soft and pretty. It is more pink than the purples “Wisteria Wonder” or “Perfect Plum“. It is lighter than “Rich Razzelberry” and the two colours look wonderful together for a tone-on-tone card.
