Cheating with Paper Pumpkin
Sometimes, I feel like I’m cheating. When I get my monthly Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail, I’m so excited. All the bits are there for me to make some wonderful cards, including step-by-step instructions. And usually, I just make the cards or the project exactly as is (did you see the cute wreath from last month?) But sometimes, I just have to mix it up and get crafty. For the March 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit “Pocketful of Cheer”, I did make some changes…and it is so much fun to take the already prepared bits and make something different with it. Almost feels like cheating.
This is how the March kit is supposed to look finished.
And this is how I changed it. I left the gift card holders mostly the same and I’ll tuck those away for when I need to send a gift card.
I modified the cards, even using some other past kits, for the sayings.
I like the printed cardstock base. It was white, but with some blue speckles. Very pretty and easy to build around.
And if you like a kit, subscribers can go back and order past kits and refills. You can see the currently available kits in my online store HERE. This March kit, “Pocketful of Cheer” is available. This is a perk for subscribers only.
Sign up by the 10th of the month to get the current month’s kit. We’ve seen a sneak peak and it is masculine cards. Can always use more masculine cards!!
