This is a thank you card I made for my son's football coach. 

The great texture in the background comes from Stampin' Up's Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the Big Shot in the Summer Mini Catalogue.

The colours are good masculine colours:  Bravo Burgundy with Soft Suede.  I accented with white to brighten it up.

The football images are from a retired stamp set, but you could use the new set "Touchdown" (p. 89 of the current Idea Book and Catalogue) for a similiar look. I stamped the image on Watercolour Paper, watercoloured and cut it out.

You could also easily substitute the baseball stamp set "Home Run", the soccer set "Goal" or the basket ball set "Slam Dunk" and make cards for your kid's sport or your favourite athlete!

The saying is from "Family Phrases" (love this set for anything to do with kids!)  I stamped it with white Craft ink and then punched it out using the modern Label Punch.
