Quick measurements (A2 card)

  • Card base: 11″ × 4¼″ (score at 5½″); fold the front panel back to the score line to create the easel.
  • Focal panel (shown here): 4½″ × 2½″  |  Mat: 4¾″ × 2¾″ (≈⅛″ border)
  • Alternate focal panel (video comparison): 5″ × 3″  |  Mat: 5¼″ × 3¼″
  • Inside “stopper” strip: small DSP scrap layered on Early Espresso; pop up with Stampin’ Dimensionals so the card stands.

Tip: Use liquid glue when your borders are narrow (1⁄16″–⅛″) to get that wiggle-room for perfect alignment.

Step-by-step highlights

  1. Create the easel base: standard A2 card (11″ × 4¼″). Fold in half at 5½″, then fold the front back to the fold line.
  2. Stamp the greenery: Garden Green + Old Olive; stamp off to build depth.
  3. Die-cut in batches: leaves, berries, pinecones (save scraps for small pieces).
  4. Assemble the swag: Glue Dots for quick placement + Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth; add the Real Red bow (twist so the shiny side shows).
  5. Add the stopper: a narrow, matted DSP strip on Dimensionals inside keeps the card propped open.
  6. Finish: dots/gems, inside greeting, and optional second panel size (you’ll see both in the video).
