Impressions Abloom Easy Card Design with the New Stampin’ Up! Colour Timid Tiger
I made this card on a recent live video using the new Impressions Abloom stamp set from Stampin’ Up!. I was also demonstrating one of the new 2025-2027 ‘In Colors’ Timid Tiger. Of the five new ‘In Colors’ Timid Tiger was initially not one of my favourite colours, but it is growing on me. It is a softer colour than than the Pumpkin Pie colour and a little more muted. You can watch the video and see my colour comparisons as well as the colours I choose to pair with Timid Tiger. You can also check out this POST here where I talk about each of the ‘In Colors’ and how they compare to other colours
Watch my step-by-step card making process in the video.
You can see in the graphic below that I the colours I chose for this card were blues and oranges, which are opposites on the colour wheel. Opposite colours form a complementary colour combination which creates a fun, bold contrast.
I used the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper (see the full supply list below) to pull in the two blue colours. And I used the gems and cardstock to match up the stamping of the Timid Tiger colour. Fun Fact: Adding Gems and Stampin’ Dimensionals can really punch up your card design!
I also made up this comparison of the actual cardstock to compare Timid Tiger to other current Stampin’ Up! colours. As you can see from the picture it is closest to Pumpkin Pie but softer. And it goes well with Peach Pie or Petal Pink (which is what I used on this card) for a more monochromatic look.
