Waterfall Moving Card with the Snowy Wonder Scenes
I made this interactive Christmas card, called a “Waterfall card” during one of my live crafting video sessions. Every Friday afternoon at 3 pm, I do a live video on both Facebook and YouTube.
I love doing this kind of fun card with moving parts. If you like this type of card too, check out my Kinetic Cards (Cards that Move) Class HERE. I’ve included the pattern in my Kinetic Cards Class as a bonus!
See how I made this card watching the video above. Making a waterfall card is such a fun way to show off your creativity while giving someone a cool, interactive surprise. It’s the perfect way to add a little extra ‘wow’ to any special occasion! And all of the supplies are listed below!
I used the Snowy Wonder Stamp set for this card. You can get the Snowy Wonder stamp set and dies as a bundle for 10% off from Stampin Up!, but I just used the stamp set for this card.
This stamp set has lots of little images that are perfect for a waterfall card. I loved building the little scenes with the house and the mountains and the trees and the snow.
I also used the very fun Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper. You can see the Designer Series Paper in the plaid background. I’ve also used this paper on several other card videos showcasing the cool snow globes (see my past live videos here).
The colours of the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper were the inspiration for the colour palette on this card. They are Petal Pink and Poppy Parade. There’s something fun, but also sweet about this non-traditional colour choice for a Christmas card. Both of these item are still available from the Stampin’ Up! store, but starting tomorrow items will still moving to retiring lists…so if this look and design is something you like, be sure to grab it while supplies last.
Here’s a final look at my Waterfall Card. Please check out the video for a full explanation on how to put this card together. All supplies are listed below with links to my Online Store.
