Fluffiest Friends – Cat Birthday Card
I made this card using a new stamp set bundle called Fluffiest Friends that is part of the new Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives to come out this past Tuesday.
The Fluffiest Friends is a super cute stamp set with these big roundish animals, including a cat, a bear, a hamster, a rabbit/bunny, a beaver and chick. And there are some cute little bees included in the stamp set too. The dies have additional pieces like a branch, leaves, a bee hive, and balloons.
Please note that Online Exclusive items are not found in any Stampin’ Up! Catalogue and are only available while supplies last.
I made this card in a recent Live Video. I do a live video every Friday afternoon at 3 pm. Eastern. You can watch my replays here.
And here is the cat Fluffiest Friends cat Birthday card video here.
The Designer Series Paper I used in the card’s background is from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and is called Delightfully Eclectic. This is a wonderful paper package containing 48 sheets of double-sided papers! Wow! There are 12 different designs, including this pretty daisy pattern that I used on my cat birthday card. And there are four 12″ x 12″ pieces of each pattern, so you have lots of paper to do repeat projects.
View the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper in my store HERE. You can see the full list of supplies I used on this card below.
The colour scheme on the card came from the Designer Series Paper and the fact that I wanted a little “Crumb Cake” cat.
The greeting stamp set that I used on this card is called So Sincere. I loved the vertical “Happy Birthday” in this stamp set (see the circled image below). Plus there are just a lot of very nice other greetings that I know I’ll use. You can find this stamp set in the current Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue (which ends at the end of December).
I coloured the cat image with Stampin’ Up! Blends markers. You can see more information about the Blends Markers here.
The card has a fun opening that is held closed by a little flower embellishment. I created the embellishment with the Petal Park Builder Punch. See how I got the 3-D effect on this flower and how to position in the video. See the full list of supplies below.
