I made this funny homemade thank you card on a recent Facebook Live video.  I LOVE the dies that I used, Pierced Blooms Dies, to make the flower spray on the side of the card.  I’m so sad that these dies are on the retiring list as they are so pretty with their stitching on each element.  And they are fun to work with to put together a flower spray like the one I made for this card. One of the things that I love about this card is the unexpected humour of the saying.  When you see the pretty spray of flowers on the left hand side of the card, you don’t expect this to be a funny homemade thank you card.  The funny saying is from a stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue called Bragworthy. This stamp set has some humorous, almost sarcastic, type greetings in it that would make for funny homemade thank you cards as well birthday or friendship cards.  You can see another card I  made using the Bragworthy stamp set here.

The other product to point on on card, that is on the retiring list, is the die shape that I used for the saying. I’m so sad that  the Stitched So Sweetly Dies are retiring as I reach for these dies a lot for greetings.

And finally, I just want to point out the embellishment I used for the centres of the flowers.  You can find the Classic Matte Dots in the current Mini Catalogue and they will continue to be available in the upcoming New Annual Catalogue.  They are the perfect add on to the die cut flowers.
