I made this card, using the Awesome Otters Stamp set, for a fellow demonstrator friend who is really quite awesome.  And I love puns so the “Otterly Awesome” sentiment was perfect.  I wanted to thank her for being a big influence on my  group of demonstrators (Jenn’s Junkies).

I used the Awesome Otters stamp set for the main image. This is a stamp set that you can get for free during Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration promotion (that ends on February 28th).  The otters are so cute and you can add a birthday hat if you want to turn it into a birthday card.  I used just the sentiment on a card that I posted last week (see it here).

I also used another Sale-a-bration product, the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper on the saying.   This paper is so fun and the first thing I redeemed when I got my Sale-a-bration rewards.  In fact, for this card, I had almost none of the Designer Series Paper left, so I pieced some of it together (see the video below).  See another card I made using the Marbleous DSP on Instagram here.

I used Foam Adhesive Sheets and the Amazing Thanks Dies to create the popped up fun saying.  See all the products used at the end of this post (with links to my Online Store).

To colour in the image, I used my Blends Alcohol Markers from Stampin’ Up!  You can see more about the Stampin’ Up! Blends markers here.  I love how smoothly these markers colour. And I love that we have a whole new set of Natural colours (see more about the new Natural markers here).
