Poinsettia Petals in Felt
I’m showcasing the lovely Poinsettia Petals Bundle again (see my posts last week for more ideas) on today’s card. The bundle includes all the bits you need to make this lovely 3-dimensional flower and greenery.
This card is different than my previous posts (see them here), not only because the Poinsettia flower is red, but also because it is made from felt. Stampin’ Up! has a Combo Pack of Felt, Festive Felt, in four colours: Early Espresso, Just Jade, Real Real Red and Whisper White. And how cool is that you can die cut the felt and get that embossed texture right on the felt.
I can’t wait to play with the other felt colours.
Also on this card are TWO designer series papers that are all part of the Poinsettia Place suite from Stampin’ Up:
- Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper
- Plus Poinsettia Specialty Paper (see another card made with this paper here).
Did you know that you can get all of the items in one suite with ONE product number? Check out the Poinsettia Place Suite here (#144109).
Also on this card are the lovely Beaded Pearls. They are a trio of pearls on a silver base.
If you like traditional red and green colours on a Christmas card, then check out this colour combination. To see more of my colour combination ideas, check out my Pinterest Colour Combination board here.
This card was made by a very talented demonstrator on my team, Laurie Alexander, from Burlington, ON. I love how Laurie added layers and textures using the felt and the several types of Designer Series Paper and the embossed Garden Green cardstock. See below for a complete list of products used on this card.
