The Brightly Gleaming Suite is one of the most stunning in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue!  It features gorgeous Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper with Night of Navy,  Pretty Peacock  (love this new colour), Mossy Meadow (a beautiful rich green) and copper accents.  You can see all of the items used on this card below.

I got this card in a demonstrator card swap exchange from Sofi Daniels, of Burlington, Ontario. I love how Sofi matched the copper accents in the paper with the copper embossing of the saying.  And, by the way, if you are embossing, don’t forget the most useful little tool, the embossing buddy! If you rub it on the cardstock before stamping, it helps take the static out of the paper. It then prevents small stray pieces of embossing powder mudding up your image.

I love the design of this card from the strips of Designer Series Paper (what a great way to use up scraps!) to the negative image of the punch with the peek through to the paper.  Notice too that the top of the ornament is made from Copper Foil Paper that has been punched out and cut and sized to match. It makes the ornament have a more finished look.
