What are “In Colors”?
Every year Stampin’ Up! introduces a new set of “In Colors” that remain in the catalogue for two years! These are five colours that on trend colours that complement and infuse the current Stampin’ Up! colour collections. The colours are available in ink, ink refills, cardstock, markers, designer paper and embellishments. I look forward each each to seeing the new set of colours!
That means that every year there is ALSO a set of “In Colors” that RETIRE. That means that these colours will no longer be available to purchase. And there will no longer be embellishments or designer paper in these colours. The card I have pictured above showcases these colours. This year is is the colleciton of 2017-2019 colours that retire and that includes these colours:
- Powder Pink
- Lemon Lime Twist
- Tranquil Tide
- Berry Burst
- Fresh Fig
These colour are currently in the “retirement phase” where is is still possible to get them, but they are only available while supplies last. You can see the full list of products available for these colours in this post HERE.
This beautiful card that I’m showing you today, I received in a demonstrator card swap from the talented Shirley Hannah of Winona, Ontario. Shirley used all the retiring “In Colors” and the Butterfly Gala bundle. I love the pairing of Basic Black with the “In Colors” for a stunning card. See the full supply list for this card at the end of this post.
I love the two-toned butterflies that tie together the cardstock in the background. I also love how this card opens with a band/tag that opens up the card and then there is a middle panel that opens. See the pics below to understand how it looks.
Make sure you check out the full RETIRING LIST here before items are gone for good on May 31st.
