What to Write in a Baby Shower Card
Have you bought or made a cute baby card and then had no idea what to write on the inside? That is what I thought after I made these two sweet and simple baby cards using Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Paired stamp set. Having missed a chance to send a few baby cards recently I wanted to be able to make some baby cards quickly and easily so I could have some on hand ready for when I needed them. Read below for more about these cards including a picture showing what is on each card.
As for what to write in the Baby Shower card, I had already stamped “congratulations” on the outside of the card. So what else could I say on the inside!? This, my crafty friends, is why I LOVE rubber stamps. I just choose an appropriate stamp and they do all the work for me. And then I just have to sign their names and mine! I love this Noah’s Ark themed stamp set from Stampin’ Up! And it is an image that is just begging to be coloured. I do love to colour especially with my Blends alcohol markers. But in order to make this a fast and simple card, I decided to stamp the image so that I would not colour it. I stamped the image with Black ink on Powder Pink card stock for the baby girl card and with Bermuda Bay ink on Pool Party card stock for the baby boy card. I could even see making a yellow version if you were at a baby shower and didn’t yet know the gender of the baby.
I then added just a simple matching ribbon (love Stampin’ Up!’s matching card stock and ribbons!) that I just attached in a loop pattern to the front of the card.
