As soon as I saw the Floral Romance seals in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue, I knew I wanted them!  They look just like a wax seal!  But with the convenience of already being done and perfect.  And they are self adhesive on the back.

For this card, I made a little sprig of “lavender” using both the Frosted Bouquet dies for the leaves and a die from the new Butterfly Beauty Thinlits.  

I was able to attach the die cuts and a piece of linen thread to the seal with a few extra glue dots and then directly to my card front.  See all the supplies on this card listed at the end of this post.

The saying and die cut saying are from the must-have new bundle Well Said.  This bundle has an endless combination of sayings you can create and, of course, custom colour to your projecct. I think this card would be great as a Mother’s Day card too.

The colours on this card are Very Vanilla, Soft Suede for the background and then Highland Heather and Mossy Meadow (for the sprig and the words).  I often reach for Whisper White cardstock when I’m designing aproject, but sometimes you just need to use a softer colour and I felt these colours and the tone of the card, needed a softer touch so I used Very Vanilla cardstock on this card.   After I embossed the background of the card, I used my sponge and Soft Suede ink to sponge the edges of the embossed cardstock to give it even more of a POP!
