Key to My Heart Masculine Valentines Card

When I first saw the keys in the Occasions Catalogue (in the Classic Garage Metal Elements), I knew I wanted to make this Valentines card.  It is hard to make a Valentines card for a guy that isn’t too mushy (unless your person likes that!), so I know I wanted to keep it mostly a big heart!  The heart shapes are from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits.  Most of the dies in this set, have stitching around the edges. Love this detail.

The background papers are gorgeous and yes they are floral, but I felt it would still work for a guy card.  They are from the All My Love Designer Series Paper (see all the supplies at the end of this post).  This pack of paper actually has some great plainer heart patterns that would work well for “guy” cards.

For the saying, I printed it on Whisper White cardstock on my computer and then matched the font colour to the Lovely Lipstick colour. If you want the file I used you can save and print it here: Key to My Heart file

Here’s the little keys  that come with the Classic Garage Metal Elements.   The package comes with the little wrenchs too.  Aren’t they adorable?  There are 16 pieces total (eight of the keys and eight wrenches). I’m already planning a card for my brother to use up those wrenches using the new Classic Garage suite.

Stay tuned to www.StampwithJenn.com and I’ll have some more Valentines cards ideas for you this week.
