New Stampin’ Up! Colours- The New ‘In-Colors’
This year Stampin’ Up! is doing a major colour revamp (see more about that here) by retiring some colours, bringing back some old colours and bringing in 10 brand new colours into the core collection. This is in addition to the new “In-Colors” that will be around for two years.
So how do these colours compare to the the rest of the Stampin’ Up! Colours?
I’ve made up a few comparisons to show how different the colours really are. Today I’m showing the ‘In Colors’ and later this week, I’ll show and compare the other 10 new colours.
The new ‘In Color’, Lovely Lipstick, is a lovely pink red. It is more pink than Real Red and more red than Melon Mambo. It fills in nicely with all the Stampin’ Up! purples. I think this colour flower also really shows how vibrant the returning colour Poppy Parade is.
The new ‘In Color’, Grapefruit Grove, is a pretty peach toned colour. It is lighter than Calypso Coral and more peach than the lighter pink colours. It definately falls into the more orangey colours of Pumpkin Pie and the new Mango Melody.
The new ‘In Color’, Pineapple Punch, is a bright fun yellow colour. I was surprised at how much brighter it is than Daffodil Delight and it also seems more neon, which is why I compared it to Lemon Lime Twist.
The new ‘In Color’, Call Me Clover, is a rich green colour. It is closest to Garden Green but brighter. I think it will be a great Christmas green.
The new ‘In Color’, Blueberry Bushel, is a bright, almost primary blue colour. It is close to Pacific Point but a deeper blue.
In another post later this week, on www.stampwithjenn.com I’ll continue with my comparisons and show my colour flowers with the ten brand new colours.
Thank you so much for your flower color comparison:)
