Seasonal Chums – Fancy Fold
I have another new Christmas stamp set, Seasonal Chums, and Christmas card to show you. This card has a fancy fold on it! The stamp set is from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue and the Designer Series Paper is from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. You can see both catalogues here.
The front part of the card is folded back in half. There is a little mini card that attaches to the front and the back part of the card and folds closed when the card closes. See all the items I used to make this card below.
The stamp set is a cute set that is meant to be a tag set. You stamp the image and cut it out with the matching dies and then fold it over to make the tag (as shown in the picture below). And the stamp set includes perfect little sayings to stamp on the tags, but that also work well for cards. Because I was stamping a number of cards (I made this card for a swap with other Canadian demonstrators), the first thing I did was cut the snowman image stamp in half. I often alter stamp sets to suit my needs (see this post here). It is easy enough for me to put the two images back together to do the tag image.
I stamped the snowman in Basic Black ink on Shimmery White cardstock. I then used my Aquapainter to colour in the image with my inkpads. I used the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green makers to add some darker highlights. See all the supplies I used below or click on any of the images below to shop in my online store.
