Perfect Mix Dozen

When I saw the Perfect Mix stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalogue, I had to have it as I love the puns in it!    Each image has a matching saying and pun.

To make this card, I stamped the image first with Basic Black ink.

Then I coloured the image with the Watercolour Pencils and blended them with a blender pen.  I love these new Watercolour Pencils.  There are 13 colours in the set. And even though there wasn’t a Crumb Cake colour in the set, I was able to use the Early Espresso and add just a little bit of colour at the base of the egg and use the blender pen to dilute and spread the colour.  I also used the Bermuda Bay pencil to colour one of the eggs.  And I used the Basic Gray colour to colour around the image to highlight it.

Also on the card is the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  These Framelits are awesome as they have ovals, circles and squares in them.  You won’t find them in any catalogues, but you can still order them in my online store HERE.

You can see all the products used on this card in the picture and list below.

I’ll definitely be using this set again with the Watercolour Pencils.  Make sure you are checking back to www.stampwithjenn.com often to check out my new samples.
