Falling In Love Christmas Card

Why am I showing you a Christmas card when it is almost Valentine’s Day?  I made this Christmas card for my clients using the NEW Falling in Love Designer Series Paper from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue.  I wanted to be able to show you that this gorgeous paper can be used for so much more than just weddings.   And this card design, with the change  of a saying and a different punched element (maybe little gold hearts)  could, in fact, be a wedding card.

I also used the Sale-a-bration free ribbon on this Christmas card.   The 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon is something you might have missed in the Sale-a-bration booklet on page 11.  You get the two spools of ribbon (gold like on my card above, and silver) for free with any $60 order (until March 31st, 2017).  This ribbon is gorgeous in person and ties easily.  The gold ribbon has a vanilla base which is why my card has a vanilla card front. And the silver ribbon has a white base.  I’ll be posting another card idea this week at www.stampwithjenn.com that also used this gorgeous Sale-a-bration ribbon.  See the complete Sale-a-bration promotional items HERE.See the complete supply list of this card at the end of the post.  The stamp set I used on this card is still available as part of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue carryover list. You can see all the items that are still available from the Holiday Catalogue here.

Each card turned out just a little differently depending on which part of the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper I used.

  1. Jenn, what a beautiful card. And a great way to use smaller pieces of the DSP, as well. I’ll be making some of these soon. Thanks for sharing!
