Easy Teenage Boy Birthday Card

Teenage Boy Birthday card

I made this card for my son’s 15th birthday.  I was in a hurry, as we were leaving to go out for dinner, and I realized I needed a card (gasp, yes I’m not always prepared).  So I made this card quickly using the “Going Places” designer series Paper from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue.  That designer paper is now sold out (make sure you look at the retiring list HERE as it is all over on May 31st).  But you could use other Designer Papers (or even stamp your own designs!).

To make this card, was super easy and quick.  I just cut up some strips of Designer Paper varying in sizes and added them to a Vanilla mat.  Then trimmed off the edges for a perfectly trimmed card!  I cut out the numbers on my Big Shot from the vanilla circle and just added a piece of Lost Lagoon (also retiring!!) in behind.  Then I stamped the words on the little piece of Lost Lagoon and popped it all up!   Quick and easy and perfect for a guy!
