My Favourite: Sleigh Ride Edgelits

The "Sleigh Ride Edgelits"  from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue have been one of my favourite toys!  And they are retiring.  That means that after January 4th it will no longer be available (or sooner if supplies run out!). Retiring list scroll
If you love these framelits too, don't wait til you can't get them let me know you want it now.  You can also shop in my online store below.

I've got 3 stunning Christmas cards to show you, all made with the "Sleigh Ride" edgelits dies.

p.s. Be sure to check out some of my other favourite items from the Holiday Catalogue, that I've posted this week on my blog!  And be sure to come back as I've got a few more days of favourites to show you.

Silver scene copyI got this "Sleigh Ride" scene card from Karen Duke at my Founder's Circle swap.  I love how she trimmed the edges of the scenes with a layer of silver foil paper.  So elegant and gorgeous!
Sleighride northern lights

This gorgeous and simple Sleigh ride card I got from an amazing team member,  Sofi Daniels.  Sofi made a gorgeous "Northern Lights"  technique with the framelit die, some sponging and just flicking some water on the paper.  Love it!!  It also showcases the stamp set "Jingle All the Way" that matches the "Sleigh Ride" Edgelits dies. You can get these two items as a bundle (but only until Jan.4 or sooner if supplies run out!)  See the retiring list here.
Sleigh ride fold out card closed
I was playing with the "Sleigh Ride" edgelits dies and wanted to create a fold out card.  I was able to do it, using a 12×12" piece of white cardstock and by  using the reverse of the sleigh image and then some trimming on my fold lines with scissors.

  Open card 3

I love how when you untie the ribbon the card folds out to reveal all the layers of the scene!  Great card for writing a long message inside!  I also added dazzling diamonds glitter to all the edges of the scenes.
