Masculine cards are not as easy to make as the pretty flower cards or cards with ribbons that I make for most other occasions.  With masculine cards, colour choice is important as well as the stamp set.  I also like using lots of texture on a masculine card.  The "Four Feathers" stamp set (and matching dies) is a perfect stamps set to make a card for a guy. 

There is lots of texture on this card making it "manly".  The background is emobossed and sponged.  Several of the feathers are embossed- one with Gold and one with Early Espresso embossing powder (love this colour of embossing powder!).  The saying has been slightly curved to provide even more textures.  And the twine that is looped around the card is a perfect accent with the button (twine=the guy ribbon).
