Happy Halloween House by 9 year old.
This haunted little house was made by my 9-year old son. It is the Design-a House from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalogue! The house comes plain white sturdy box board and you decorate any way you like. It is super easy to put together with sticky strip (really strong tape adhesive).
Duncan wanted to dress it up as a Halloween haunted house, so we started with some "stamped bricks" with left over scraps of rubber.
Notice his sign and cute ghost on the front (that he cut out by hand). And we used a texture plate to give the door a "wooden" look. I helped with the oval punched out pumpkins. We use Stampin Up's Lattice die for the roof pieces. And Duncan also stamped some bats and spider web images from the stamp set "Wicked Cool" on the back of the house. And then he covered the roof in "spider web" goo.
Next up: a Gingerbread house…we had so much fun we got a 2nd house. For $7.50 why not?
We'll post our project when we are done.
