Smooch Spritz: Log Cabin

Saffron-butterfly This is one of my favourite samples that we did at the Stamp-A-Rama on Saturday.

It uses the  Presto Patterns Speciality Designer Paper from the new Summer Mini catalogue.

I like to call this "magic" paper.  In the catalogue it doesn't look like much, but is a white paper with a built in embossed image.

To make the image appear, like magic, you can sponge ink, brayer ink, paint ink, or spray ink over top.

On this card, we sprayed the smooch spray (the log cabin one) on the paper and then rubbed it with a sponge to smooth it out.

The middle piece of the card is on glossy cardstock using a versamark resist technique.

The butterfly is stamped on vellum and is one of the single stamps All a Flutter and the saying is from the stamp set Watercolour Trio, both in the Summer Mini Catalogue.

Today in my weekly "Card of the Week" email I sent my clients another sample using the "smooch spray".  To make sure you get my weekly inspiration, sign up in the top left hand corner of this blog www.stampwithjenn.com.  It is free and you can unsubscribe anytime!
