Guest Post: Raquel Garcia: Sesame Street Punch Art

I'm posting this adorable sesame street card in honour of Jim Henson's (creator of the Muppets) birthday which was on September 24th.

This is a tri-shutter card and was created by Raquel Garcia, a demonstrator in my group from Milton.

Raquel has blown me away with all the detail on this card!  She has used her punches and imagination to create this one-of-a-kind birthday card.  Notice the detail on the front with Big Bird's beak, the cookie in cookie monster's mouth and even the beads on the number "3".  I love all the bright primary colours too!  Hands down the most adorable kid's card I've ever seen!

The word stamp set is "Family Phrases" from Stampin' Up! and the birthday set is "Party Hearty", also from Stampin' Up!  The punch used to make the heads is Stampin' Up's scallop circle punch.

Thanks Raquel for sharing!

  1. Hi, I am making these cards as invitations for my childrens Birthday Party. I was just looking through your stampin up website and would like to know what size punch you used for the character heads as well as for their eyes. Thank You, Lauren
