I love this super cute birthday card from Julie Welsh from Etobicoke, Ontario.  This card has all the elements in it that I teach the demonstrators in my group.  Keep it easy and simple, match your colours and add one WOW factor.  Julie embossed the outline of the cupcake to give it WOW and dimension and then highlighted that with a marker around the edge (I love that she didn't colour the whole thing in…just the hint of colour is perfect).

This beautiful card was designed by Miranda Ellis of Oakville, Ontario, a new demonstrator to my group…yahoo Miranda!  It is hard to tell from the photo, but Miranda used sparkly green glitter in several places and the card just SHINES!  Very pretty!  I love how she cut and put the saying on an angle too.  Miranda, your colour choice matches my blog design perfectly…almost like you planned it???
