Copy and Steal Everything=CASE and it is one of the best rules for new stampers.   While there are some people who are very creative out there, I'm not, on most days, one of them.

However, I love to spot lovely cards, and adapt them to my needs and that is also being creative!   And I'm a big advocate of finding a great design and just changing it up.  If you have purchased my "Inkredible Stampin' Stampin' Starter Kit" then you probably got a copy of my "TOP 6 card designs" where I show you how, with only 6 designs, and by changing the colours or the stamp sets,  you can make hundreds of different cards.

Here's two cards that share the same design, with only slight differences in the style and they use the same stamp set, Baroque Motifs.   But it is the colour choices that make the cards appear different.

  The first card uses Pretty in Pink and Purely Pomegranate with Silver Embossing and the second card uses Soft Sky and Blue Bayou (in colours available only until August 9th).  Both cards use silver brads and taffeta ribbon.  The pink card has paper piercing in the corners and the blue card uses the ticket corner punch.   The pink card design was courtesy of one of my downline, Raquel Garcia, who makes lovely cards!
