Fruit Party!
Here's some adorable samples all inspired from a demonstrator meeting we had in London recently and then one of the demonstrators in my group, the very talented Reis-Presley, made her own adaptations at our recent Burlington demonstrator meeting.
Love the strawberry smoothie she made and get a hold of the crystal "glass" she made on her margarita.
I copied her examples and made the lemonade and limeade drinks. The fruit set is the "Tart and Tangy" stamp set from the Occasions Mini Collection still on until the end of June. This is such a cute set and there is so much you can do with it.
The glasses were created with card stock vellum and then a brayer was used to create the colour. The vellum has a fold on either side which is taped to the front of the card to "bow" it out a bit to resemble a glass. The straws were taped in with sticky strip.
The edge of the glass is done with 2-way glue pen and dazzling diamonds glitter.
The "cheers" is from the stamp set "snowflake spot".
And la piece du resistance is the scratch and sniff fruit ond the edge of the glasses (mix 1/2 part clear embossing powder with 1/2 part sugar free koolaid for the effect and stamp with a craft coloured ink)…smells yummy!
We'll be using this little stamp set at my Mini card class on June the 9th. I have a few spots left. Email me to RSVP.
