Guest Artist: Alica Ziakova with Ocean Commotion

Alica Ziakova, a stamp club member, shared with me these STUNNING Cards she made with Stampin' Up!'s Ocean Commotion stamp set.  This stamp set is currently available for purchase but shown only on the dormant list.

Alica says "As soon as I got my newest SU stamp set I new what I want to make. I’ve seen cards made with this set on a blog and I loved them. I made several practice images until I got the mirror image stamping right and the brayered ocean not too dark, but finally I got one that I liked. Sorry, I don’t remember the exact color combination of inks I used for this one – probably Bashful blue and Baja Breeze with Pacific Point on the back panel."

"The second one is a bit more colorful, with fishes stamped in Pumpkin Pie and Only Orange and the sea plants in Kiwi Kiss. I used a bit of sponging over the brayered ocean too. The CS is Only Orange and KIwi Kiss – the image panel started as Whisper White."
