Wishes & Wonder Christmas Card

Wishes & Wonder Stampin' Up!

The new Wishes & Wonder stamp set and dies are quickly becoming one of my favourites from the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue.  I made this card during my Facebook Live Session last Thursday.  You can watch that video here.

As you would expect from Stampin’ Up!, the dies in the bundle cut out the shapes in the stamp set.  But what I love about these dies, is that they also have several EXTRA shapes, including tag shapes, sprig branches,  and an extra deer image.  The extra deer die-cut is the one I used on this card. This deer die cuts out AND it embosses the shape at the same time.  It is so gorgeous, cut from a metallic paper, like this gold foil paper. When you get the Wishes and Wonder Bundle you save 10% off the price from buying the stamp set and dies individually.

I didn’t come up with this Christmas card idea.  It is a copy from the Mini Catalogue on page 30 (View the Stampin’ Up! Catalogues HERE). I just loved the card design so much that I decided to recreate it.  I made a couple of tweaks including exposing more of the gorgeous Argyle Satin ribbon.  This ribbon is just stunning in person.

One of the things I learned when making this card, is how much, I now love the Shaded Spruce colour! It looks fabulous with Real Red and gold.  These colours together make a great Christmas colour combination.
