Looking for a bright and sunny card? This stamp set, Sunny Days, caught my eye right away in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.  It has this adorable lemondade stand, which would work for many types of encouragement type of cards or just wishing somone a sunny day!  And there lots of little accent pieces to acccessorize your card!

I had fun using my Blends (and some new colours…squeal!!) to colour the image on this card. Here’s a close up, so you can also see how I used my light Pool Party Blends marker to trace around the image, after I coloured it, to make it pop.

I also used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper on this card.  The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper is part of a  promotion this month (see here for more details).   And I used the Gingham Night of Navy ribbon as an accent to pull through the “country” vibe on this card.  Finally, I wanted to point out the cute accent I made on the layers, by rounding only two corners on opposite sides. Love this look of this to change up a layer.  You can see all of the supplies, including the punch, I used below.
