A Twist on the No Line Stamping Card Technique

The “No-Line” stamping technique is something you can try with your rubber stamps.  Basically  you use a ligther colour of ink to stamp an image and then watercolour over top of the image to “erase” the lines.  This stamping technique creates a beautiful watercoloured image that doesn’t look like it was stamped.

I’ve done an extra twist on the “No-Line” stamping technique by using the technique first and then overstamping it with lined image from the stamp set Perennial Birthday.  The effect is an image that looks water coloured but still has some line definition.

I’ve used botht the floral image from this set and also the saying.  If you are looking for a versatile stamp set, this one is one of my favourites.  See how I put the card together in my video below.  If you would like to see it larger, just click on YouTube at the bottom of the screen!
