Baby Bear Shaker Card

baby bear shaker card

I love the Baby Bear stamp set “beary much”.  Just couldn’t “bear” not to say that to you.  Haha!
I got to make this fun shaker card at a recent demonstrator playdate!  That’s right we just get together and play and stamp! How fun is that!  (Learn more about being a demonstrator here).

This card was designed my one of my team members, Alica Ziakova, from Niagara Falls, Ontario.  Alica designed the cute shaker idea (the sequins move around when you shake the card!) and added Baby Bear the front and then we all got a chance to make the card.  As I mentioned in another post earlier this week (here), Baby Bear is super easy to stamp.  For this colour combination, we used Crumb Cake ink stamped off, then Crumb Cake ink for the bear’s 2nd layer and then Chocolate Chip ink on top. The colour of the Bear’s bow and the card front is Emerald Envy.  I’ve got to be honest, I haven’t been loving this colour, but it so cute paired with the brown colours.  I’ve got some other colour ideas for you at the end of this post.

And just another quick note, it is amazingly easy to put together shaker cards with Stampin’ Up!’s new foam adhesive strips.  They are long and easily wrap around shapes like this oval cut out.  All you need to pair it with is the Stampin’ Up window sheets (see all the supplies listed below).

So couple of things:

  1. If you want to order the Baby Bear stamp set you can in my online store here. And don’t forget the July has the BONUS DAYS promotion (see details here).
  2. I’ll have more ideas using the Baby Bear stamp set AND shaker cards coming up this week at www.stampwithjenn.com.
