Embossing Folders and Shapes
I've only got a few more Christmas ideas to show you, so I had to fit this beautiful card in. It uses punched out shapes and an embossing folder to create a wreath!!
It is from fellow demonstrator, Mary Louise Hamill from Milton.
Mary Louise says to make this card she punched out 4 – 2 1/2 " circles from the cardboard that backs our designer paper. Then she punched a 1" circle in the middle of all of them making sure that they would line up and then then glued them together.
The sandwich on the Big Shot was as follows: platform with everything closed, NO CUTTING PAD, emboss folder closed with full 1/4 sheet of cardstock inserted inside set on top, and then the shape set on top of the closed folder ( she secured with Dotto), covered by one of the cutting pads.
Then finally, you cut a full 1/4 of a card as some of the outside edges might need to be cut off due to wrinkles.
Love this technique, Mary Louise..thanks for sharing. I can see making a bunch of different shapes to use with other folders and other occasions!
Check back tomorrow to www.stampwithjenn.com where I will show you some cute and easy Christmas tags.
