Exclusive Curvy Christmas Stamp Set

Stampin' Up! Curvy Christmas

Have you seen the new Curvy Celebrations promotion and the Curvy Christmas stamp set?  Wowie it is like no other stamp set we have in the catalogue.  Many of the images are on a curve and they look fabulous together.  With this Curvy Christmas stamp set (pictured below), I love how the images and the greetings all follow the same curves and pair well together.  And the greenery would work well in a wreath shape.  See more about the Curvy Celebrations promotion here.

Curvy Christmas

I made this card during a LIVE Facebook presentation on my VIP group last week (see more about my VIP group here).

On this card, I embossed the star image with silver embossing powder.  And in the middle of the card, I used Silver Foil Sheets. I embossed the foil with the gorgeous Winter Snow Embossing Folder.   This is probably my favourite new embossing folder for Christmas cards.   However, I messed up and embossed the folder on the wrong side of the foil.  I have the “debossed” side of the paper showing.  But I ended up liking my “mistake”.  I always say that there are no mistakes in stamping.

quick tip from stamp with jenn.com

How to EMBOSS the CORRECT side of the CARDSTOCK or DSP! Put the side of the paper that you want to be embossed against the side of the folder that has the Stampin’ Up! logo on it.   And that is the side will have the embossed (raised image) on it.

I added a little bit of colouring with a White Chalk Marker to some of the bigger embossed stars.  I also added a few little rhinestones into the “spray” of stars.  See the complete list of supplies that I used at the end of this post.  And click on any of the images to

To prepare this card I cut a piece of Whisper White and a piece of Misty Moonlight to 5 1/4 x 3 1/2″.  Then I used the lovely curved die that comes in the Quite Curvy Bundle to cut in around the middle of each sheet.  Then I mixed and matched the pieces to create several cards.  I love the colour combination of Blue, White and Silver for Christmas cards.
