Easter Lamb

Easterlamb

I made this card using the adorable “Easter Lamb” stamp set at a recent demonstrator get together.

The “Easter Lamb” set is one of the single stamps that you can get from Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalogue.  The lamb image is stamped with versarmark and then embossed with white embossing powder.  The trick to getting the image so crisp is to use an embossing buddy to remove the static from the black paper, so you don’t get any stray spots blobs of white powder.    Another tip with this stamp set is that, because it is a wood mount stamp, you can cut apart the words from the image so you can stamp them separately!  Mount the words on the side of the block and the image on the surface of the block.  I think this little lamb would be adorable for a baby card too!

Everyone at the get together, did a different colour!

The little “bowtie” on the lamb was made by sponging Daffodil Delight ink over Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and then punching out two little hearts and putting them back to back.  How sweet is that?  I’ll have another Easter card to show you this weekend on the blog at:  www.stampwithjenn.com/blog
