Acetate Glitter Doves

Olive-dove

This is a card we made in my Stamp Club Classes in November.

It was inspired by a card made by a lovely demonstrator and friend, Karen Duke.

Karen used some metal foil tape from a local hardware store and ran it thru the Big shot for the awesome looking shiny strip on the card.Tape

The main image was stamped (from the stamp set "Gifts of Christmas") on acetate with Staz-on Ink.  Then, on the underside, we filled in the Dove with Crystal Effects and then sprinkled with glitter while the Crystal effects were still wet.

Let it dry, flip it over and attach to white cardstock with brads.  Makes a gorgeous glittery shiny card and the best part is the glitter is concealed behind the acetate.  You have to see this one in person!

This card used Old Olive as the background cardstock and glitter from Fine Supernova collection.

Look at all the various colours you do by matching the glitter and the cardstock.
